About the position

Meliva VC/BVC Masthuggskajen started in November 2024. We are a healthcare center under development, and as we grow, we shape our working methods together. We take a holistic approach to the patient and are proactive in promoting health.

Masthuggskajen operates with a Drop-in clinic. Here, we all work together in the mornings, including nurses, district nurses, and doctors. We aim to meet our patients' needs in the best way possible with high availability. We need you who enjoy working in a team and can easily adapt between your tasks. You should have an interest in Drop-in to meet our patients wholeheartedly in both mental and physical issues. With a newly started healthcare center, flexibility and a focus on development with high patient safety are required.

We are looking for someone with competence and preferably experience as a diabetes nurse. We seek someone who wishes to work and develop our clinic for patients with prediabetes and diabetes from a health perspective. Our healthcare center also runs a menopause clinic; does this sound interesting?

As a nurse with us, you will also work with standard tasks within primary care, including telephone counseling, outpatient work, and digital patient meetings. The work includes both urgent and planned visits as well as collaboration with home care when needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assessment and counseling via phone, chat, and video meetings
• Drop-in work and support for the doctor's outpatient work
• Diabetes clinic
• Wound care, vaccinations, lifestyle counseling, and coordination of chronic care
• Collaboration with other professionals within the team for comprehensive care
• Active participation in quality and improvement work

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse with experience in primary care
• Have an interest in diabetes
• Are confident in your professional role and have a good ability to independently assess the patient's needs
• Have good communication skills, are empathetic, and treat patients professionally
• Are structured and responsible, yet flexible and solution-oriented
• Enjoy teamwork and contribute to a good work atmosphere
• Are interested in participating in organizational development and digital healthcare forms

Meritorious: previous primary care work with diabetes clinic, menopause clinic, and health conversations. CBT therapist, experience in acute care.
