Your mission

The position is a permanent employment corresponding to 100% with a start in August 2026 or by agreement. You will teach and mentor our students in vocational subjects in the electrical and energy program and, together with other colleagues, you will be part of a work team. We see you as an important and driving force, focusing on the students and collaborating with colleagues. In addition to vocational-specific tasks, you will, like other teachers at the school, have tasks such as mentoring and together you and your colleagues will coach the students both socially and academically throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We primarily communicate through Schoolsoft and work in a Google environment by sharing digital documents, calendars, and plans.

Your profile

We are looking for a licensed vocational teacher in the electrical and energy program. We place great importance on personal qualities. If you lack a teaching license, you have the opportunity to apply for the position. In such cases, you and the school's principal will jointly develop a plan for how you can become licensed in the shortest possible time. The main task is teaching, but the tasks also include contact with the business community as a large part of the students' study time consists of workplace-based learning (APL), and therefore good communication with employers is an advantage.

In addition, Praktiska Gymnasiet also offers internal training for newly hired unlicensed teachers and has an ongoing collaboration with various national institutions that offer further education for teachers (VAL) to support our teachers in becoming licensed.
