We are now looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in social studies and English for a temporary position during the autumn term of 2026. With us, you will become an important part of both the working team and the subject group, where we together create the best conditions for our students.

About the position

In this role, you will teach both social studies and English. You will also be a mentor for a class together with a colleague, where you will take joint responsibility for the students' school situation.

As part of our working team, you will actively participate in conferences and in the joint development work. In the subject group, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in the same subjects, where you support each other, share experiences, and contribute collectively to developing the teaching.

Examples of tasks:

• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in grades 7-9
• use methods and approaches that support students' learning and increase goal achievement
• support students' social development based on their specific support needs
• documentation
• communicate with guardians
• collaborate closely with mentor colleague, working team, and subject group
• contribute together with other staff to the school's common work

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team around students. As a person, you are engaged, stable, and secure. You easily create good contacts, are positive, and lead teaching in a clear and structured way in the classroom.

You are eager to take initiative and want to develop your teaching. You also have no problem reflecting on your own work to continue growing in your profession. Your flexibility and calmness, along with your ability to be clear when needed, are important tools to support students towards increased goal achievement.

Requirements:

• teaching certification with qualifications to teach social studies and English for grades 7-9, or an equivalent qualifying degree that entitles you to certification

Desirable:

• teaching certification with qualifications to teach Swedish
