Coordinator in Health and Care

Do you want to contribute to better living conditions for people with neurological diagnoses while working closely with healthcare, civil society, and engaged members?

Neuroförbundet is now seeking a coordinator in health and care for a fixed-term employment of two years. In this role, you will be a key person in building and developing relationships with healthcare professionals in the field of neurological diagnoses, while also contributing to member recruitment and driving projects that strengthen Neuroförbundet's position as a patient organization.

Neuroförbundet serves as an important knowledge disseminator and partner to healthcare, providing you with a dynamic and meaningful work environment. You will belong to the engagement unit and report to the head of the secretariat, but will be managed by the engagement and fundraising manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with the healthcare sector and various healthcare professionals at the national level.
  • Ensure that information about Neuroförbundet is available in places where potential members meet healthcare.
  • Plan and implement capacity-building initiatives aimed at healthcare professionals.
  • Initiate, participate in, and coordinate projects together with healthcare, healthcare companies, and other healthcare-related actors.
  • Participate in and coordinate internal projects within Neuroförbundet.
  • Act as a link between local associations and healthcare and support local collaborations.
  • Collaborate with the communications unit on healthcare-related communication efforts, meetings, and events.
  • Contribute to the development of routines and processes for future projects and member recruitment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education and a good understanding of how healthcare is organized and functions. You have experience working within or closely to the healthcare system and feel comfortable collaborating with various healthcare actors. You have experience in conveying knowledge through lectures, workshops, or other educational initiatives as well as in driving projects.

You thrive in a role where you can take initiative and turn ideas into practice, and you have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. If you have an established network in neurology or other relevant areas within healthcare, we consider that an advantage, as well as experience from civil society and/or association life. Personal experience of neurological diagnoses is also seen as a plus.

We are looking for an engaged and outgoing person who easily creates and develops relationships. You are communicative and pedagogical, express yourself clearly in both speech and writing, and are confident in representing the organization and meeting groups. With a proactive and results-oriented approach, you take initiative and drive the work forward towards set goals. You naturally have a genuine commitment and empathy for people living with neurological diagnoses.

What we offer

In this role, you will be a central link between healthcare, our members, and the organization, while creating concrete initiatives that make a real difference for our target group. We offer you a dynamic work environment where collaboration, inclusion, and participation are in focus. Here, you will be part of an organization that truly makes a difference in providing people with neurological diagnoses and their relatives with knowledge, support, and strength. Neuroförbundet is a member of Fremia and applies their collective agreement.
