Extra Prosecutor at the Economic Crime Authority in Stockholm
The Economic Crime Authority prevents, detects, interrupts, investigates, and prosecutes economic crimes. Our 800 employees have various competencies and professional roles, such as prosecutors, police officers, economic crime investigators, administrators, and other specialists, all working together against economic crime. Workplace
At the Economic Crime Authority in Stockholm, there are three economic crime chambers, one financial market chamber, and one police operational unit. We are now looking for one or more extra prosecutors for one of the economic crime chambers.
Your Responsibilities
The investigations are conducted in workgroups tailored to the scope and complexity of the case. Together, the various competencies work in teams based on the assignment to effectively investigate and prosecute economic crime. As an extra prosecutor at the Economic Crime Authority, you will lead the preliminary investigation from the moment a case is received and a preliminary investigation is initiated until the case is concluded. During your employment period, you will also perform prosecutorial duties at the Prosecutor's Office as part of being able to be appointed as a chamber prosecutor after your employment.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Nordic law degree
- Completed notary qualification from district or administrative court
- Good legal knowledge
- Experience from other qualified legal work for at least two years after your notary service. This primarily refers to work as a court of appeal and administrative court assessor, lawyer, and enforcement officer
- Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Legal experience in working with economic crime, criminal law, or tax law
- Good digital competence and ability to learn new programs and systems

Information about the Employment
Employment type: The position is a fixed-term employment for 12 months. You may then be granted permission to become permanently employed as a chamber prosecutor.
