We are now looking for a meticulous and dedicated accounting assistant/accounting economist for a fixed-term assignment in Norrtälje.

The assignment suits you who have good experience in daily financial work and appreciate an administrative, service-oriented role where structure and responsibility are central. The work takes place largely on-site at the office and starts immediately.

About the position

The assignment is 50% and extends over six months, with the possibility of extension. The role is operational and involves close collaboration with other colleagues in finance and administration. You will be an important support resource in daily financial management and are expected to work independently within your area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Management of accounts receivable, from documentation and registration to follow-up and reconciliation
• Management of payments and special income, including registration, bookkeeping, and reconciliation
• Ongoing contacts with banks and handling of banking matters
• Support to the organization's employees in financial administrative matters related to the tasks
• Ensuring correct and structured financial flows

Suitable background

• High school diploma in economics
• Several years of documented experience in daily financial administration, preferably within companies or public/non-profit management
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Experience working with accounts receivable and transaction-intensive flows
• Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish

Personal qualities

You are meticulous, structured, and unpretentious in your work approach. You enjoy collaborating and providing service, but are also confident in working independently. As a person, you are responsible, communicative, and contribute to a good collaborative climate. You appreciate working closely with the organization and being present in the office in daily work.
