Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions

We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for someone who wants to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

Welcome to us

Welcome to a workgroup where experience and joy at work go hand in hand! One of our employees is moving from Stockholm, and we are looking for a new colleague for social psychiatry.

The area consists of a total of 47 caseworkers and LSS administrators. We are divided into three units: LSS children, LSS adults, and social psychiatry, led by an area manager, with each unit having a unit manager and team leaders. We also have a reception group that currently consists of three competent colleagues who support and manage cases for all units. Social psychiatry currently consists of 16 caseworkers, and the daily work is led by a team leader. Your immediate supervisor is the unit manager for social psychiatry. If you are ready for the next step and want to work in a district and unit that cares for its employees and wants to make a difference for its residents, please submit your application! Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process.

We offer

With us, you will have an important and meaningful assignment where you meet individuals with various needs who apply for support in their daily lives. We have a high level of job satisfaction and a work environment that we care about.

As a newcomer, you will receive an introduction with an introduction plan that will be followed up and evaluated. We tailor the introduction based on previous experiences in the profession and provide you with close supervision and support tailored to your needs and circumstances. We also offer a wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year, the possibility of vacation exchange, and flexible working hours with winter and summer working hours. Some remote work may occur when the job allows it.

Your role

Some of the most common tasks as a caseworker in social psychiatry include:

  • Investigating and making decisions under the Social Services Act and LSS.
  • Following up on decisions.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Participating in and leading SIP meetings.

Our employees and managers have a strong drive to find new paths and methods in their work. As an employee with us, you can make a difference by contributing your ideas, engagement, and courage.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree in social work or equivalent education.
  • Documented knowledge of the target group in social psychiatry.
  • Knowledge of legislation, LSS, and the Social Services Act.
  • Documented experience of authority exercise within social psychiatry.
  • Knowledge of the discharge module LIFECARE SP.

Personal qualities:

We want you as a caseworker to be professional (acting professionally based on your profession and role, secure, stable, and self-aware), self-sufficient (taking responsibility for your work, structuring and independently driving tasks forward), stable (calm, stable, and controlled in pressured situations), and meticulous (ability to see details). Since a large part of the work consists of documentation, record-keeping, and administration, you need to have a very good ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Other

In this recruitment, you may need to present an extract from the criminal record register. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.

We recruit without a personal letter to strengthen the focus on competence and experience for this role. When you submit your application, you will answer a number of questions. When we assess your application, we will base it on your CV and the questions you have answered. After the application deadline, we will review all applications.

We see diversity as enriching and welcome all applicants.
