We are now looking for a traffic planner for the Public Space operations.

The Public Space operations are responsible for planning, developing, operating, and managing the municipality's public environments – such as roads, squares, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and parks.

Here, we work both strategically and operationally to create safe, functional, and attractive environments for residents and visitors. The work is done in close collaboration with other parts of the municipality and external actors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a traffic planner, you have an important role in developing the municipality's traffic system and contributing to a safe, accessible, and sustainable transport system.

You will, among other things:

• conduct traffic investigations and analyses
• contribute traffic expertise in detailed plans and development projects
• prepare decision-making documents and service writings
• handle referrals and opinions on traffic issues
• collaborate with actors such as the Swedish Transport Administration, the region, and consultants

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education in, for example, urban planning, traffic planning, or road and water, as well as experience working with traffic issues.

You are analytical, structured, and have an easy time collaborating. You can present complex issues clearly and pedagogically and feel confident in producing analyses and decision-making documents. Since travel within Enköping's surrounding areas is included, a B driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in municipal operations as well as with tools such as AI, GIS, or traffic data.
