ABOUT THE ROLE

This is the role for you who thrive at the intersection of business, strategy, and delivery – and who wants to work closely with the sales organization, experts, and management to create winning bids.

As a Bid Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing Nexer's bidding work within the public sector. You drive the entire bid process, from qualification and strategy to negotiation and contract writing. Your work ensures that our offerings are competitive, scalable, and commercially sustainable.

You will project manage cross-functional teams consisting of sales, delivery, and specialists, acting as the hub in shaping business strategy, pricing models, and commercial arrangements in larger procurements. At the same time, you ensure structure, quality, and compliance throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate strategic bids and framework agreement initiatives

  • Drive bid processes from start to finish

  • Develop business strategies and commercial arrangements

  • Participate in dialogues and negotiations with clients

  • Act as an internal advisor on procurement and bid strategy

  • Contribute to developing working methods, processes, and competencies within the organization

You will have a central role in strengthening Nexer's ability to win complex business and create long-term value – both for clients and the organization.

YOUR BACKGROUND

We are looking for a business-driven and structured Bid Manager with experience in public procurement and bidding work within the IT or engineering consulting industry.

You thrive in complex business where many stakeholders collaborate, and your ability to create structure, quality, and clarity is crucial for success.

You have a strong combination of strategic insight and operational execution power, and are used to leading bid processes all the way from qualification to contract. You feel comfortable in dialogue with both internal experts and senior decision-makers at clients.

We believe you have:

  • Relevant academic education or equivalent experience

  • Experience in bidding work and public procurement within IT/Tech

  • Good understanding of LOU and the procurement process in Sweden

  • Documented experience in leading complex bidding processes and bid teams

  • Strong analytical and structural skills as well as experience producing high-quality bid documentation

  • Experience in project management in cross-functional teams

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Experience with framework agreements and larger procurements in the public sector

  • Experience from working in the Nordic or European markets

  • Background in sales, business development, or commercial strategy
