The Heart Clinic in Falun is a specialized unit within the Cardiology Clinic, which also includes a larger heart ward and a coronary laboratory for coronary angiography. The clinic also includes an acute care unit with monitoring places. At the clinic, we meet patients with a wide range of heart and vascular diseases. Various types of examinations, investigations, and follow-ups are performed here for suspected or confirmed heart problems. We work in multiprofessional teams consisting of nurses, doctors, biomedical analysts, and medical secretaries. Together, we create a safe and well-functioning care environment where job satisfaction, collaboration, and patient focus are at the center. Temporary position as Nursing Assistant, Heart Clinic Falun Job Responsibilities

• Perform EKG and simpler sample collections
• Assist in pacemaker surgeries
• Connect and disconnect long-term EKG
• Cashier function
• Contribute to a good reception and a safe patient experience

Information about the Job Title

As of July 1, 2023, the title nursing assistant is a protected job title (https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/skyddad-yrkestitel-for-underskoterska/). This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and social services.

You can apply for the certificate from July 1, 2023. If you do not have a certificate, you can continue to work in healthcare and social services, but with a different title than nursing assistant. For those offered a job with us in Region Dalarna after July 1, the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can present your certificate. If you had a permanent position with the title nursing assistant when the new regulations came into effect on July 1, 2023, you can continue to use the title nursing assistant for 10 years. You can retain the title even if you change workplaces/employers after July 1. After that, you will need to have a certificate of protected job title to use the title nursing assistant.
