Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor each year. It is everyone’s tax money that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we delve into each case, follow laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show compassion. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
Repayment is a dynamic area of operations in constant development, present in several locations across the country. We are now looking for insurance administrators for our unit in Stockholm. You want to contribute to an area characterized by collaboration, accountability, and solution-focused work methods.
Administration, teamwork, and production
As an insurance administrator, you have an important mission. You need to have a good ability to communicate and interact with people so that you create opportunities for citizens to feel secure in their contact with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
We are looking for you who understand that each individual has a unique situation and needs to be met based on their specific needs. When you work with repayments, you encounter people who may have received compensation from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency on incorrect grounds, whether knowingly or unknowingly, and may therefore be liable for repayment. This means that you convey decisions about repayment to individuals who may find themselves in a financially difficult situation. You are responsible for explaining the decision simply, clearly, and structured so that it is easy to understand.
The work involves independently investigating, assessing, and deciding whether the incorrectly paid amount should be repaid and if there are grounds for remission. You negotiate repayment plans and take actions to recover the incorrectly paid amount.
To succeed in the role, you need to be able to collaborate towards common goals, make wise assessments, and be flexible and solution-focused. In your work, you may also have contact with external parties such as employers and other authorities. You will communicate via phone and in writing. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable communicating in Swedish, both spoken and written.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.
This is a job for you who want to take responsibility.
We are looking for you who
- have a high school diploma or equivalent experience and qualifications
- are service-oriented
- have a systematic and careful working method
- are stable and can maintain energy even in stressful situations
- collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
- have good communication skills, both spoken and written
- quickly identify problems and solve them in a relevant way
- work independently, take initiative and responsibility
- have a good ability to use a computer as a working tool.
It is meritorious if you
- have worked with administration and made decisions that affect individuals, preferably in a government agency
- have experience working in a production-driven organization
- have experience working result-oriented towards set goals
- have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in different life situations.
We place great importance on your personal qualities.
