Your Mission

As an analyst, you will belong to a unit within the Signals Intelligence department. The department works with the collection of raw materials, processing, and analysis, delivering intelligence reports and other services to the agency's clients.

In the role of analyst, your main tasks will be to take responsibility for assigned areas by analyzing at both operational and strategic levels, primarily in the form of:

• Understanding and translating collected information, partly in Russian and English
• Processing and analyzing various types of data and materials
• Monitoring developments and events in the production area
• Writing reports and presentations and adapting production to meet client needs

You will work both in groups and individually, and at times the job will require working under pressure. Strong confidentiality applies to the position, and on-call work and work during inconvenient hours may occur. Travel, both domestic and international, is included in the position.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience analyzing complex materials and formulating results in written form
• Good computer skills
• Good reading and listening comprehension in Russian
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of military affairs
• Knowledge of military maritime platforms
• Experience in signals intelligence or intelligence work
• Experience working within the Armed Forces or related agencies
• Experience from studies or work in areas where Russian is spoken
• Interest in security, foreign, and defense policy

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
