The Position and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you play an important role in contributing to Botkyrka municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop based on their unique abilities.

In your role, you will teach music and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of teaching as well as grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's joint work. You contribute to a good learning environment through active collaboration in working groups. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development.

You will also collaborate with other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's value-based work and work inclusively. You are keen to stay updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental monitoring, professional development, and collegial learning. Mentorship is a central part of your role through social contacts with students and classes, contact with guardians, attendance management, and development talks, as well as collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team.

You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching. As an employee with us, you are an ambassador for the school by participating in open houses, fairs, etc.

Conditions

Requirements: Teacher certification – (relevant to the position)

Meritorious: Experience working as a teacher. (Primarily in the area the position concerns) ICT knowledge (Google) Experience with V-Class Experience with students in need of special support
