Join us in making a difference for our students at Noblaskolan Nya Hovås! We are now looking for a school nurse who wants to contribute to ensuring that all students feel safe and happy in a stimulating and developing environment.

Noblaskolan Nya Hovås is a school with an integrated preschool where we work with children from a 1-16 year perspective. We are divided into three units and buildings, all located close to each other in Nya Hovås.

We are now seeking a school nurse for grades 6-9 as our current nurse will gradually retire during the autumn term of 2026.

As a school nurse, you will primarily work in a health-promoting and preventive role. The overarching goal is for all students to have the opportunity to meet the required knowledge standards in school. As a school nurse, you will be part of a comprehensive student health team at the school and will have close collaboration with the school doctor, special educator, psychologist, counselor, as well as the deputy principal and principal. A comprehensive student health service is intended to support students' development towards educational goals. The school nurse's duties include standard school nursing tasks that are essential parts of the above work. Health visits and the open clinic are important components in ensuring that each student receives the support they need in school. Other tasks include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program.

You must be a licensed nurse with specialist training in health care for children and adolescents or open health care/district nursing. Previous experience working with children and adolescents, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an advantage. The job requires good computer skills and preferably experience with the journal system Prorenata. As a person, you should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, and be somewhat of an entrepreneur, someone who thrives on creating and taking initiatives. You have a strong drive for health-promoting work, to create a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, and to continuously work together to build good relationships at all levels.

The position is a permanent position, initially at 40%, starting in August or by agreement. The position will be expanded in the 26/27 school year as our current school nurse will retire. If you have questions about the position, you can contact principal Karolina Davidsson at [email protected]
