The Secretariat Unit is part of the municipal office that supports our core operations. You will be an important part of the municipal office, and as an employee in the Secretariat Unit, you will work in a welcoming and pleasant workplace where you also gain significant insight into municipal operations. The Secretariat Unit is responsible for information security, data protection, information management, committee administration, municipal legal issues, cross-municipal investigations, and the conduct of general elections.

WHAT DOES YOUR ASSIGNMENT INVOLVE?

As an information security coordinator, you are responsible for driving and developing the municipality's systematic information security work. This includes:

• Designing and managing governing documents: Creating and developing governing documents, processes, and methodological support.
• Risk management: Supporting the organization in information classification, risk analyses, and vulnerability assessments.
• Incident management: Coordinating work during incidents and reporting deviations.
• Training and information initiatives: Educating the organization's employees to develop the security culture.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, such as the Cybersecurity Act and the Security Protection Act.
• Supplier management: Supporting the assurance of security requirements in contracts during procurements.
• Collaboration: Both with internal and external actors on security issues.
• Follow-up: Monitoring information security work and reporting to the responsible manager or management.
• Network: In your role as an information security coordinator, you will build and lead a network of system administrators in the municipality to ensure execution.

The role is new, which gives you good opportunities to influence and shape work methods and contribute to developing the organization's information security at both strategic and operational levels. You will have close collaboration with the municipality's data protection officer/information security coordinator with a legal focus. The assignment also includes supporting the municipality's companies in information security issues so that these operations also conduct safe and structured information security work. You will work both strategically and operationally, in close collaboration with management, operations, and external actors.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in information security, IT, systems science, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Confidence in informing, educating, and communicating with both employees and management.
• Experience working with information security, information classification, risk management, or related areas.
• Good understanding of governance, management systems, and organizational development.
• Good understanding of IT security technical requirements and how these can be implemented in practice.
• The ability to develop, implement, and manage governing documents and support the organization throughout the process.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from the public sector.
• Knowledge of the ISO 27000 series and MCF's methodological support.
• Experience with GDPR, NIS2, or security protection issues.
• Experience in change and training work.

As a person, you are structured, proactive, self-driven, and have an easy time prioritizing. In stressful situations, you remain calm and contribute stability. You need to have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and be able to communicate complex security issues in a pedagogical and clear way to different target groups. We see that you have high integrity and the ability to work independently while creating good collaborations and relationships within the organization as well as with external suppliers and authorities. You have perseverance and enjoy driving long-term development and change work in collaboration with many different parts of the organization. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
