Senior BI Consultant Wanted

We are currently seeking a senior BI consultant with strong expertise in Power BI and SQL for a short consulting assignment with a well-established company in the insurance sector. The assignment starts on April 1, 2026, and involves 50 percent working time over four weeks.

The assignment is suitable for you who thrive in the intersection of data, analysis, and business, and who are used to taking responsibility for the entire chain – from data collection to finished report.

In this assignment, you will work on developing a new Power BI report that visualizes daily sales related to the company’s collaboration agreements. You will be part of a team with strong expertise in data and analysis, where you collaborate closely with colleagues but also drive the work independently.

About the Assignment

In this role, you will be responsible for developing an end-to-end reporting solution. This means you will work with data collection, data processing, and data modeling as well as the design and development of the Power BI report.

The team is already responsible for the entire development chain, so you will have the opportunity to collaborate and discuss solutions with experienced colleagues throughout the project.

Responsibilities

In this assignment, you will, among other things:

• Collect and process data from various data sources
• Write and optimize SQL queries
• Structure and develop data models
• Design and develop Power BI reports
• Ensure that the reports meet the business needs and provide clear business insights

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in Business Intelligence / data analysis
• Has very good skills in Power BI and SQL
• Has experience in building end-to-end reporting solutions
• Is familiar with data modeling and data processing
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently

It is a merit if you also have experience with Python or SAS.
