Company Description
Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 700 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel in Swedish nuclear power, delivers nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and implements projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services for all of Vattenfall's operations, corporate staff, and stakeholders. This involves activities such as the development and provision of training, project management and project support, analysis management and investigation, product development, nuclear safety and dust safety assignments. The focus within the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit is to enhance our capabilities in project management and selected technical key disciplines. We actively work with continuous improvement initiatives and the development of our models, where our work and expertise create significant value for Vattenfall and its investments.
About the Role

We are now looking for a Crisis and Preparedness Specialist for one of our two units within Human Factors at Vattenfall Power Solutions. The units currently consist of about 20 employees who work project-based with several collaboration partners within the Vattenfall Group.
In the role of crisis and preparedness specialist with us, you will provide support in various projects aimed at strengthening the ability to manage, develop, and follow up on crisis and preparedness activities.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Support the organization and its collaboration partners in developing crisis preparedness and contribute to robust crisis and preparedness organizations.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate exercises, workshops, and training initiatives within the crisis and preparedness area.
- If necessary, develop, further develop, and ensure the quality of documentation related to crisis and preparedness.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and act as an advisor in crisis management.
- Serve as the unit's expert in the field.
The units have a broad mandate, and you may also support the operations in matters related to safety-critical processes and contribute with analyses within Human Factors (MTO), investigations, and facility changes.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- Several years of experience working in the crisis and preparedness field, preferably as a crisis and preparedness leader.
- Experience in planning, executing, and evaluating exercises, workshops, or similar activities.
- Experience in preparedness planning.
- A background from safety-critical operations in larger, complex organizations within the private sector.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Driver's license B.
It is also an advantage if you have:
- Experience or education in Human Factors (MTO), for example related to facility changes, investigations, or training.
- Competence in HSE.
- Experience in accident investigations or other qualified analytical activities.
In this role, you need to be a communicative person who enjoys educating and leading groups. You easily adapt to different situations and target groups and show a clear drive, curiosity, and willingness to contribute to development. You appreciate a daily routine with many contact points and partners, both internally and externally, and work confidently even when circumstances change. You have the ability to prioritize in complex situations and remain calm when others around you seek direction and support.

Location is Solna, Västerås, or Gothenburg. Travel is a natural part of the job, but we actively work with technical aids to reduce this.
