We are looking for a Software Tester in Vision Systems for an exciting assignment with a leading player in the development of autonomous solutions for outdoor environments. In this role, you will work closely with a development team that is developing advanced vision-based systems for autonomous products. The assignment involves practical and varied work where you will test and validate sensors, cameras, and AI-based functions in real-world environments.

As a test engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring that vision modules and sensors function correctly in various scenarios. By collecting and analyzing video data, you contribute to the development and training of AI models used in autonomous systems. The work involves both practical outdoor testing and analysis of test results together with developers and other teams to continuously improve the functionality and reliability of the products.

In this role, you will work practically with testing and validating vision-based systems and sensors in real-world environments. You will be responsible for collecting video data and analyzing sequences used for training and verification of AI models. The work also involves testing and evaluating new sensors and lenses in outdoor environments and documenting situations where vision or sensor systems do not perform as expected.

You will collaborate closely with the development team to address issues reported from the field or other internal departments, as well as contribute to prioritizing improvements. The role also includes designing, developing, and executing tests based on real use cases, as well as developing and maintaining automated regression tests for the vision modules.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of practical experience working with vision systems such as cameras, LiDAR, or similar sensors

• Experience in sensor validation and analysis of image or video data

• Knowledge of test automation and testing methodologies

• Experience in scripting, such as Python

• Ability to analyze test results and identify deviations or areas for improvement

• Good collaboration and communication skills

• Valid driver's license (B)

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge in software testing

• Experience with HIL systems

• Experience building or maintaining test rigs

• Location: Huskvarna

• Remote work: Not possible (work primarily takes place on-site and in outdoor testing environments)

• Extent: 100%

• Assignment period: April 13, 2026 – December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension

• Working hours: Full-time

• Working language: Swedish and English
