Responsibilities as a Junior System Tester

As a system tester, you will be part of a team of about 20 people working on the verification, qualification, and integration of complex systems. You will work in teams with colleagues who are test engineers, system engineers, designers, and project managers.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing test plans, analyzing system requirements, and transforming them into test cases. You will create test specifications, conduct tests, and document the results at the system level. Tests are performed both manually and with the help of programming, primarily in Python.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Develop and analyze system requirements and test plans
• Transform requirements into test cases and create test specifications
• Conduct tests and analyze results
• Write reports at the system level
• Work in requirements management tools

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across several technical areas and have contact with different parts of the organization, from development to production. The work takes place on-site at the company in Huskvarna.

In the role of System Tester, we are looking for someone who has:

• An engineering degree in electronics, software, or physics
• At least 1 year of experience in requirements management, verification, or validation
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with safety-critical systems
• Programming skills, preferably in Python
• ISTQB certification or similar
