YOUR NEW JOB

As a residential supervisor at Kristallen, you will work in a group home with young adults. Your main placement will be at Kristallen, but work may also occur within other operations in the area.

Our mission at Kristallen is to support our residents towards independence and a meaningful leisure time. You will have close collaboration with relatives and other operations. You will contribute to ensuring that the user has a meaningful leisure time with activities based on the user's wishes and needs. Common tasks include support with daily chores, activities, personal hygiene, medication, and actively working for the user's personal development.

Your working hours will be scheduled for days, evenings, and nights (on-call).

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for someone with education from the child and leisure program, health and care program with a specialization in disability care, or education in pedagogy/psychosocial areas. Experience in similar work is an advantage.

You need to be able to work independently by taking your own initiatives, taking responsibility for your tasks, and planning and organizing your work. Since the users' needs are varied, you need to be flexible and able to quickly adjust your work. To thrive in the role, you also need to have good pedagogical skills and a great deal of patience. You need to understand others' perspectives and work with a low-arousal approach. It is also important that you have good collaboration skills.

As a residential supervisor, you need to be comfortable using a computer as a work tool since you are expected to handle social documentation and other administrative tasks.

Kristallen is a group home with 6 residential places in central Vindeln for young adults. As a residential supervisor with us, you will become part of a knowledgeable team and will also have contact with other professionals and relatives.
