We work together with authorities, municipalities, businesses, and other stakeholders focusing on Västra Götaland County and our 1.7 million residents. The County Administrative Board has a broad operation and a very important role in several areas of society. This includes the highly relevant challenges of regional growth, implementing the green transition, developing civil defense, and nurturing democracy.

The County Administrative Board is a regional government authority with about 1,000 friendly and competent employees. We operate in several locations in Västra Götaland but also in other parts of Sweden as we are responsible for the IT operations for all county administrative boards.

About the job

Are you an engaged and structured recruiter who wants to work focused and operationally with recruitment? Are you attracted to simultaneously contribute to developing the County Administrative Board's work in attracting and recruiting the right competence?

We are now looking for a temporary recruitment specialist who wants to contribute to sustainable competence supply at the County Administrative Board.

We offer you a job where you:

  • drive and are responsible for the entire recruitment process – from requirement profile to employment
  • collaborate closely with hiring managers and act as a consultative support in recruitment matters
  • identify competence needs and contribute to attracting the right competence
  • participate in developing our working methods, processes, and digital solutions within recruitment.

You will work together with another recruitment specialist focusing on recruitment and competence supply. The HR unit has a total of eleven competent and engaged colleagues. We have a close collaboration, share experiences, and support each other in our daily work.

The County Administrative Board's HR unit is a workplace where you get the opportunity to develop in an organization that operates in a rapidly changing environment, where collaboration, learning, and sustainable development are central.

We work a lot digitally, even when it comes to meetings, and offer good opportunities for remote work during part of the working hours.

The place of employment is Gothenburg.

About you

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and analytical, and enjoy planning and driving recruitment processes forward. You master competence-based recruitment.

You have a consultative working style and are comfortable in dialogue with managers where you can both support and challenge. You communicate clearly and have the ability to formulate ads and messages that attract the right competence.

You work independently in your recruitments but continuously collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to developing working methods and routines within the recruitment area. You have a healthy approach to work, which is evident in how you plan and carry out your assignments. As a person, your focus is on opportunities rather than obstacles.

We are looking for someone who also has:

  • a university degree in human resources and labor issues, or other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent
  • several years of relevant experience in competence-based recruitment
  • experience working digitally and an interest in developing digital working methods.

It is an advantage if you have experience in recruitment within government operations and in developing recruitment processes. We also value experience in recruiting within the IT field.
