JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a support pedagogue for the LSS residence Prästgården. At Prästgården, we always focus on the youth and highly value personal support. As a support pedagogue, you are an important part of our team and contribute to the daily operations of the residence, including general daily living activities, cleaning, laundry, and cooking. Together with other staff members, you help create a positive and inclusive environment by developing and implementing programs and activities that promote social interaction, independence, and self-confidence. If needed, you will also mentor new employees and interns. In this role, working hours may vary and can be scheduled during the day, evening, weekend, and/or night through sleeping on-call or awake night shifts as necessary.

As a support pedagogue, you will be the contact person for children/youth and carry out interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act. You will document activities such as journal entries, implementation plans, and monthly reports. You will also plan, collaborate, implement, and document meetings with social services, healthcare, guardians, schools, and networks. You will work closely with the responsible coordinator for further orientation in the various tasks. At the residence, you will help maintain safety according to current routines and work preventively with other staff members through risk assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) focused on social/pedagogical work, or a degree from a university with a corresponding focus. It is advantageous if you have training related to NPF and IF diagnoses as well as experience in similar roles. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
