Recruitment Administrator at SiS Youth Home Hässleholm
The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure care for youth. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. No matter where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.
SiS Youth Home Hässleholm is a locked institution with four treatment departments, two departments for reception and needs assessment (MBB), and an open TFCO unit. We primarily receive school-age boys but also girls, who are involved in ongoing criminal activities and, in some cases, substance abuse.
In 2026, we have the opportunity to expand our staffing in administration due to the startup of new departments, thus needing to recruit and introduce many new employees.
The position will initially focus heavily on recruitment and introduction, but you will also be engaged in other administrative tasks, and the role may change throughout the year based on the need for tasks where we require reinforcement.
You will work in a team of just over 10 people, closely collaborating with primarily HR administrators, training coordinators, and other administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire administrative part of the recruitment process for specific job postings, including; ad creation, candidate screening, communication with candidates before and after interviews, reference checks, coordination of internal contact between those responsible for salary setting, booking for introduction, etc.
- Coordinate and participate in group interviews as well as individual interviews as needed
- Be responsible for our week-long introductory training for new employees, where you independently and in collaboration with other involved instructors plan the structure and execution. Currently, the introductory weeks occur every other week and will continue to do so throughout the spring; after summer, they will be held once a month.
- Maintain contact with partners regarding recruitment and internships and act as an ambassador for the organization externally, e.g., by giving informational lectures at vocational colleges
- If necessary, support our reception with various tasks, e.g., mail handling and purchasing.
- If necessary, support financial administration with various tasks, e.g., invoice handling and requisitions.
- If necessary, support with other administration, e.g., record keeping and archiving.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education with a focus on administration, or equivalent education combined with work experience deemed relevant by SiS
- Recent experience in an administrative role
- Experience working with recruitment
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite
Desirable
- Experience coordinating training in some form
- Experience in administrative work within public sector, preferably within a government agency
- Experience working with Reachmee, Proceedo, and UBW
- Experience providing internal service and support to managers and operations
- Good understanding of regulations and governance within public recruitment
- Experience from working with youth care
Personal qualities
You need to be flexible and unpretentious as the organization may have peaks in various administrative areas at different times, and you may need to be called upon for various tasks as mentioned above. Our operations are dynamic, so it is important that you have the ability to work at a fast pace while also creating an overview of the whole and being able to prioritize independently. Your many points of contact also require that you have good communication skills and a high sense of service, both towards external contacts and colleagues and other internal collaborative functions.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability for this position.
Employment:
The position is a fixed-term employment until December 31, 2026, starting immediately. Working hours are between 08:00 - 16:30, with the possibility of flexible hours.
At SiS, we care about good employee engagement. This means that you, as an employee, take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration. Read more about our employee engagement.
SiS actively works against all forms of discrimination and welcomes all applicants.
For work at our institutions, SiS conducts background checks before employment.
In preparation for the recruitment process, the Swedish National Board of Institutional Care has made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. Therefore, we firmly request no contact from media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.
Note! If you have protected personal information, do not apply through the recruitment system. Instead, contact the person listed as the contact person in the advertisement.
