Attendo Topelius is a special accommodation located in Nyby in northern Uppsala with 80 places distributed over four departments/floors. 40 places are for people with dementia and 40 places are for people with high care needs. Attendo Topelius is a lifestyle accommodation focused on Sports and Spa, which means we focus on well-being for both body and mind.

Job Description

We are now looking for summer substitutes, primarily for weeks 25-32, but other weeks may also be relevant. If you are interested in working in elderly care, we can offer a pleasant and developing workplace with an engaged team. The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. We will also be filling some night positions.

Together with your colleagues, you will work to provide the best possible care for our clients. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in elderly care. We place great importance on personal suitability and teamwork ability. Good Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. You will work alongside nurses and rehabilitation staff to do the best for our clients in their daily lives. The job requires a high level of personal responsibility, flexibility, and initiative. Structure, routines, planning, and joy are key words for the operation to function in a safe and secure manner.

Working hours 70-100%.

Introduction days will be held at the beginning of June. If you are interested in working as a substitute before the holiday periods begin, there may also be opportunities for that.

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant or a care assistant with experience in elderly care.

With your valuable knowledge and competence, you are a key person in the company and seen as an important team player to develop the operation in close collaboration with your manager.

About the recruitment process

Before any employment, an extract from the criminal record must be presented along with valid photo identification. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
