Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to provide all residents of Kronoberg County with specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The documentation unit within specialized psychiatry consists of a close-knit and helpful team of about 30 employees of varying ages. Here, you will encounter a warm work climate characterized by forward-thinking, curiosity, and a desire to find smarter and more digital ways of working. The pace can sometimes be high, and the tasks varied, but we always support each other and roll up our sleeves when needed.

The team at Sigfridsområdet consists of 12 employees who work in bright, airy, and nature-close premises with access to a fresh staff gym, contributing to a pleasant work environment. Together, we provide professional and service-oriented administrative support to patients and colleagues within child, youth, and adult psychiatry in both Växjö and Ljungby.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a medical secretary who is engaged and interested in working with a varied job in a good working environment.

Examples of job responsibilities include journal documentation, 1177, booking/calling patients, referral management, and supervision of students. Collaboration is an important part of our daily work as we work in teams. There are focuses on both outpatient and inpatient care, and we work together with many professional categories such as doctors, psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists.

There is ongoing extensive digitization within Region Kronoberg where you, as a medical secretary, have an important role in various forums. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are interested in digital solutions and process management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary/healthcare administrator and who enjoys a varied job where flexibility and engagement are a natural part of everyday life. You have good IT skills and an interest in technology, digitization, and new ways of working. We value that you are meticulous, structured, and have the ability to prioritize and organize your work effectively. A professional demeanor, high service orientation, and ease of collaboration are important qualities in you.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
