As a Controller within Södra Wood, you will have a central and operationally close position where numbers meet reality. You will influence decisions regarding production, profitability, and future investments – not only through reports but through dialogue, analysis, and collaboration. This is a role for you who wants to understand the business in depth and simultaneously see the clear impact of your work in everyday life.

In this role, you will naturally move between analysis, business understanding, and the pulse of production. You will work both strategically and operationally and become an important sounding board for managers and leadership in financial and business matters.

You will create structure and clarity in numbers – from costs and calculations to forecasts and business plans – and help the organization understand what the numbers actually mean. Through follow-ups, deviation analyses, and the development of key figures, you will contribute to smarter decisions and improved working methods. The role also involves initiating and driving improvements, developing models and working methods, and working closely with production to strengthen both efficiency and profitability.

You will have a broad contact surface within the organization and a daily routine that combines independent work with close collaboration – perfect for you who want to be both an analytical specialist and an engaged team player.

The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Värö, Mönsterås, or Växjö.

We are looking for someone who enjoys the combination of analysis and people – who feels equally comfortable in calculation models as in conversations with production and management. You have a degree in economics or equivalent experience and feel confident in accounting, reporting, and financial flows. You work independently, take responsibility for your questions, and are confident in yourself when meeting different parts of the organization.

As a person, you are curious, structured, and solution-oriented. You have an easy time seeing the big picture, but also the ability to delve into details when needed. You are driven by understanding connections, asking questions, and transforming numbers into insights that create real value.

Experience from an industrial or production environment is an advantage, but the most important thing is your willingness to collaborate, develop, and contribute to the success of the organization. There are great opportunities to grow here – both in the role and together with the organization.
