Responsibilities

  • Supplier Development: Identify and evaluate new global suppliers and challenge and develop existing partners regarding price, quality, and lead times.
  • Long-term Market Analysis and Total Cost: You keep track of global trends and price changes worldwide to ensure that we are not just buying cheaply in the moment, but making the best long-term deals for the entire company.
  • Strategic Planning and Risk Management: You plan how our network of suppliers should look in the future to minimize risks during crises or material shortages, and ensure that our suppliers develop at the same pace as our own technology.
  • Category Responsibility: Lead the purchasing work within specific areas and be responsible for contracts. You will have QBR and agree on KPIs and how they should develop with the supplier.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with production, R&D, product management, and quality departments to ensure that the material flow matches the company's significant volume increase.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Drive and be responsible for negotiations of framework agreements and purchasing terms to ensure the best possible business benefits and long-term delivery security.
  • Process Improvement: Build and implement structures for monitoring through KPIs and scorecard models to ensure high delivery precision.
  • Quality and Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage risks in the supply chain to minimize disruptions in production.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all purchasing processes comply with applicable regulations regarding export control.
  • Operational Management in SAP: Ensure correct data in the business system, optimize order quantities, and be responsible for keeping lead times updated to meet production needs.

Additional Information: 

  • Employment Type: Permanent position with a probation period of 6 months.
  • Start: Immediately.
  • Workplace: Täby/Arninge 

Qualifications

  • We are looking for a driven and analytical buyer who wants to work on creating order, structure, and results. The role will have a large number of contact points both internally and externally. This places high demands on good communication skills and the willingness to create networks and business relationships.
  • Several years of experience in strategic purchasing from a technology-intensive industry.
  • Very good experience working in SAP, Movex, or M3. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience updating lead times, optimizing order quantities, and ensuring delivery precision.
  • Documented ability to analyze the market and work with supplier development.
  • Academic degree (Master or Bachelor) in economics or specific purchasing education.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Please note that the role also requires Swedish citizenship and that you undergo an approved security clearance.
  • B driver's license and the ability to travel for work, both within Sweden and Europe.
