Menzies Aviation Arlanda is now looking for CHECK IN AGENTS who want to be part of a global company and play an important role in every traveler’s journey!

Your role:

You will be the face of Menzies Aviation and our customers - the airlines you represent. You will greet passengers at the start of their journey during check-in. You welcome people from all over the world, guide and assist them. You will work with check-in and bag drop, to boarding at the gates.

You will have the opportunity to work with multiple DCS systems and represent several different airlines. By following safety regulations and airline-specific procedures, you prioritize our customers' and their passengers' needs in everything you do. The job demands high levels of service, accuracy, and security, and you should enjoy working and developing in a dynamic and international environment. As part of our team, you play an important role in every traveler’s journey.

Qualifications:

• Hold a complete high school diploma or education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Swedish and English; fluent in both spoken and written. Other languages are a plus. Language tests will be conducted.
• Enjoy a fast-paced workday, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and situations
• Be reliable and responsible as safety is our top priority
• Be able to work shift hours and get to and from Arlanda at odd times; please describe in your application how you will get to Arlanda at odd hours. (may start as early as 0145)
• Be able to prove and account for what you have done in the last 5 years with supporting documents and pass the security clearance from the Transport Agency and Security Police.
• Have that extra service touch/spark to give.

ARLANDA airport is a protected site, and to work at the airport, an approved security clearance performed by the Transport Agency and Security Police is required, as well as being able to verify your employment over the last five years. Please provide detailed dates on your CV. This must be supported by certificates or grades; ensure you can provide this and prepare as best as you can for a potential interview. To be eligible for the position, you must be free of criminal convictions.

You will receive solid training for about 5 weeks where theory and practice are combined. During the training period, you will be employed on an hourly basis until the training has been approved.

Working hours: Shift work, which means working days, evenings, and weekends. Overtime pay according to applicable collective agreements. Ensure you can get to work at odd hours. Shift times in this department are currently between 0145 and about 2200, subject to change.

Scope: After completing the training, an hourly employment rate will be offered until the summer of 2026 when you will move to a 75% schedule; we expect you to be able to work all summer.
