Jefferson Wells is looking for a Strategic Buyer/Category Manager for a large company in Solna. The assignment includes strategic purchasing, category management, analysis, and master data work. The role involves procurement, supplier follow-up, purchasing analysis, and administrative purchasing processes.
- Start date: 2026-04-01
- End date: 2026-12-31
- Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week
The assignment includes strategic and operational purchasing. The work involves conducting qualified procurements of goods and services as well as following up and evaluating suppliers. The role requires collaboration with internal buyers and support in matters related to contracts, purchasing processes, and direct procurements. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for category development and participate in working groups and investigations.
The assignment also includes tasks such as purchasing coordination and purchasing analysis, focusing on data-driven purchasing, quality assurance of master data, and system administration. The function collaborates with category managers, project buyers, and other internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct procurements, direct procurements, and bid evaluations
- Follow up on deliveries and supplier performance
- Conduct spend analyses, supplier analyses, and trend follow-ups
- Structure, quality assure, and compile master data
- Update contract databases and purchasing or financial systems
- Provide administrative purchasing support, including order forms and reporting
- Collaborate with internal buyers and project organizations
- Contribute to the development of processes, routines, and templates
- Prepare summaries and presentations within purchasing
Qualifications and Experience
The assignment requires the ability to work in a structured and analytical manner, with a focus on data quality, business acumen, and purchasing processes. The role involves contacts with internal functions and requires administrative accuracy.
Requirements:
- Experience in purchasing, supply chain, finance, or administration
- Master's degree or equivalent education.
- Experience in data analysis
- Experience with business systems, purchasing systems, or master data management
- Understanding of purchasing processes, contracts, and procurement
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Administrative accuracy
