We are now looking for a structured and confident coordinator who is a caregiver/nursing assistant and wants to be the hub of our operations.

Description

Neuropsychiatric Clinic West is one of Sweden's largest psychiatric clinics, which investigates and treats ADHD and Tourette's, as well as assesses autism. In cases of neuropsychiatric disabilities, the clinic is also responsible for treating other psychiatric comorbidities that the patient may suffer from. The clinic has grown and continues to grow rapidly in terms of the number of ongoing patients receiving care.

Over the past year, we have tested a working method where a coordinator supports clinical staff in patient work, which has gone very well. Therefore, we are now looking for another employee to be able to broadly implement this working method!

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming cases via 1177 and SÄLMA
• Contact patients, relatives, or external actors (e.g., social services, the Social Insurance Agency, etc.) via phone and 1177
• Gather relevant information when needed
• Assess the nature of the case and appropriate actions
• Forward the case to the right professional or raise cases in relevant forums for further handling
• Function as a coordinating link between patient and healthcare staff when needed
• Other tasks may occur, which can vary from day to day

Qualifications

Formal Competence

• Caregiver/nursing assistant with experience in psychiatry
• Ability to make structured assessments
• Confident in conversations with patients in crisis
• Very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good administrative skills
• Good IT skills. Experience with Melior, ELVIS, and 1177 is an advantage.
• Experience in overall coordination is an advantage in recruitment

We have a good working community at the workplace. Your working hours are scheduled for daytime, weekdays without weekends, with the possibility of flexible working hours. The clinic is centrally located near Järntorget at Första Långgatan 26. There is a gym at the clinic that you can train in for free. The premises are very modern and were completely renovated in 2017-2018.

Conditions

Full-time employment at 100% working degree. Permanent employment. Start date for employment is at the end of August 2026, or by agreement.
