We offer summer jobs during the period of June 22 – July 3.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What is summer work?

Summer work is an opportunity for you as a young person to try out working life and get a foot in the job market. During ten days of summer vacation, you will have the chance to work in one of the municipality's various operations, such as childcare, care and support, kitchens, cleaning, or libraries.

Why should I work in summer?

As a summer worker, you gain new experiences and the opportunity to create contacts. You also gain knowledge about the municipality's work. The municipality offers dedicated supervisors with extensive experience in their professional fields. This can be a valuable experience for you when choosing a profession in the future.

When does a summer worker work?

We offer summer work for ten working days, and the working hours may vary between different workplaces, but are always six hours per day. The salary is 86 kronor per hour.

How do you apply?

Submit your application to us no later than March 31.

In your application, you should write a personal letter/CV of about one page where you tell us:

• Who you are
• If you have previous work or internship experience
• What your interests are
• If there is a particular area of work you would like to work in
• If there is anything else you think is important for us to know

The personal letter you write and your information will be given to your future supervisor. By applying for summer work, you consent to this.

QUALIFICATIONS

There are three requirements you must meet to get summer work:

• Born in 2009
• Registered in Bollebygd municipality
• Have a Swedish personal identification number

Before a potential employment, you need to present a valid passport or national ID for verification of identity and citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
