About the Workplace

The staffing planning provides the social services with temporary staff. The temporary staff work within home care, elderly care, and support for people with disabilities throughout Ale Municipality. Together with other employees, you create good conditions for our citizens in need of support.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want a summer job that really makes a difference? We are currently looking for personal assistants who want to work on a summer schedule between weeks 25–34. During the summer period, you will have a schedule with a working percentage of 50–100% and usually work every other weekend. Working hours are varied and can occur during the day, evening, awake night, or sleeping on-call. You can also work as a temporary staff member before the summer period starts!

Your responsibilities as a temporary staff member include:

  • Supporting the user in daily life and creating security, participation, and quality of life
  • Performing personal care
  • Assisting with practical chores in the home
  • Accompanying on activities
  • Administering medication according to delegation from a nurse
  • Handling other types of medication and assistance according to instructions
  • Being able to work independently

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure and responsible. You should also have a good ability to create positive relationships and have a flexible approach to work!

To work with us, the following is required:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You should be able to communicate and document in good Swedish.
  • For those who are not citizens of the EU/EES area, a work permit is required. This does not apply to those who have permanent residence permits.

Meritorious:

  • It is meritorious if you have an approved or ongoing education from a nursing program or education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • It is meritorious if you have previous experience of similar tasks.
  • It is meritorious if you can work the entire summer on schedule.

Great importance is placed on your personal qualities!

What does the recruitment process look like?

After we have reviewed the applications, we will select those who will be invited to a group interview. Before the interview, you will receive information and access to our recruitment portal where you fill in step by step. Later during the group interview, you will receive more information.

If you proceed in the recruitment process, the following will occur:

  • The recruitment portal must be correctly filled out and submitted
  • Digital reference checks (latest supervisor and a colleague)
  • A valid extract from the criminal record must be presented, via digital mailbox via email or to the responsible recruiter when you meet in the final phase (the extract must be valid within 1 year)
