Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us at Hönekullagård Short-term, you provide our users with safe, dignified, and person-centered care. You support daily life based on individual needs and implementation plans, focusing on participation, independence, and quality of life.

The work includes personal care, social interaction, activities, meal support, service tasks, and delegated health and medical care tasks. You are also responsible for social documentation and have contact with relatives.

You work closely with colleagues in a team and actively contribute to good cooperation, a professional approach, and a safe environment for both users and employees. The role requires responsibility, high integrity, and a quality-conscious work approach.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Co-planning – how it works with us

Härryda municipality works to create stable operations with increased basic staffing. This means we apply co-planning, where you have a home unit but may also work shifts in other units as needed.

The purpose is to ensure continuity and safe care for users while giving you the opportunity for variation, experience exchange, and professional development. An introduction is provided to help you feel secure in your role.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, proactive, and quality-conscious, and who is genuinely interested in meeting people in need of care. You should place the needs and wishes of the guest/tenant at the center and treat everyone with respect and consideration. You see it as your obvious responsibility to contribute to a positive spirit, good cooperation, and camaraderie. To succeed in your work in short-term care, you should enjoy the pace varying between different days and times of the day. It is also of great importance that you can step in where you are most needed at the moment.

Requirements

• Certified nursing assistant
• Two years of experience in care
• Good computer skills, experience in social documentation
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to take and follow delegated health and medical care tasks

Meritorious

• Experience in short-term somatic care
• Experience in palliative care
• Previously worked with quality assurance
• Experience with Combine, TES, and BPSD registry

The operation requires that you take delegation and perform tasks according to health and medical care regulations.
