Habilitation is specialized healthcare for children and adolescents with autism, intellectual disabilities, movement disabilities, or acquired brain injury. We provide health-promoting and therapeutic interventions based on each individual's unique needs and circumstances, and we have specialized knowledge of how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

Description

Do you want to contribute important pieces to the teamwork? Then we hope you apply to Habilitation! We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our clinic.

Responsibilities

The work is performed based on the child's needs. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating the patient's motor function and developmental level, planning interventions together with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team, and conducting goal-oriented physiotherapy, including prescribing assistive devices where necessary. The teams are geographically organized, meaning you will meet children with various disabilities. The work also involves contacts with other healthcare providers and networks around the patient. We largely work based on a consultative approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. Experience with the target group within Habilitation is an advantage. We seek someone who, together with the patient, family, and the team around the patient, wants to work to find good conditions for the individual to function in their daily life. You should be a curious person who enjoys problem-solving, variety, and thrives in flexible, independent work as well as collaborating with other professionals. High demands are placed on social skills and the ability to collaborate. Personal suitability is of great importance. The position involves travel, so a B driver's license is required.
