About our open position

As a surgical nurse at our Operations Center in Skene, we offer you a responsible and stimulating job where you can be involved in the development of our surgical department and area of operations.

You will receive an introduction tailored to your needs.

You will perform the usual tasks of a surgical nurse in the operating department. The work is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with a slightly later shift once a week. You will not work weekends or light weekends, and we are closed on all public holidays.

About us

The surgical department in Skene is a smaller day surgery unit with three operating rooms for planned surgical activities, along with a postoperative section and sterile unit. Most surgeries are performed on a day-surgery basis, but some of our patients require extended postoperative care with overnight stays.

We have about 35 employees working in the surgical department, and the activities conducted are within orthopedics and surgery. The department is open Monday to Friday. During the summer, we close operations for a few weeks, and everyone takes vacation almost simultaneously.

We work in teams and have a very positive, engaged, and cooperative attitude towards each other and the work.

The Operations Center Skene is in a development phase where we will invest even more in high production through efficiency, good workflows, effective teamwork, and quick decision-making processes. We belong to the areas of surgery, orthopedics, and ear-nose-throat.

Your profile

You who are applying for the position are a licensed nurse with specialized training in surgical care. We place great importance on personal suitability, seeking someone with good collaboration skills, a friendly demeanor, a service-oriented approach, and a positive attitude towards development work. We also value a patient-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
