The department consists of home care and the preventive unit. The different units within the department are based in Sollebrunn, Hagagården, Lärkvägen, and Centrum.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working in home care means a varied and diverse workday. You meet different people, work in changing home environments, and perform varied tasks based on the client's individual needs. The work involves moving between clients and having a workday where no day is exactly like the other. In home care, you plan and carry out many work tasks on your own, which provides both independence and responsibility.

As a care assistant or nursing assistant in home care, our common focus is that the individual should feel safe, well-being, and have the opportunity to live a dignified life. We work based on a salutogenic view and approach, which means individually adapted care with the elderly in focus.

Work as a nursing assistant:

As a nursing assistant, you work with nursing interventions and have delegation for health and medical care interventions. You have responsibilities as a contact person, document according to applicable legislation in our digital systems, and establish and follow up on implementation plans. The role may also involve individual areas of responsibility, mentoring assignments, and participation in the development work of the organization.

You also perform all tasks included in the role of care assistant or aide, including various service interventions.

Work as a care assistant:

As a care assistant, you work with nursing interventions and may receive delegation for certain health and medical care interventions. You may also have specific areas of responsibility. Unlike the nursing assistant, the care assistant does not have mentoring responsibilities and does not establish implementation plans. You perform all tasks included in the role of aide.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title (1,500 high school points or high school diploma), or trained care assistant (800 high school points).

Meritorious:

• Experience from home care or other activities within elderly care
• B driver's license
