About the Job

Working as a medical student in patient-centered care means being involved in planning, decision-making, and execution of care measures throughout the patient's hospital stay on the ward.

Examples of tasks are listed below, with variation based on the respective operational needs:

• Conversations and care of patients, such as arrival conversations and care status
• Care planning and documentation of care work
• Participate in preparing, administering, and giving medications
• Sampling, PVK control, and placing PVK and catheter
• Participate in rounds
• Contact with relatives
• Care epicrisis

Qualifications

You are a medical student who by the summer of 2026 has completed at least term 9. Previous experience as a nursing assistant or caregiver is an advantage.

You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You are flexible and can work in an environment with a lot of varying tasks at a fast pace. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Conditions

Your job title will be medical assistant. Full-time measure 38.25.

Other

This position involves working days and evenings as well as weekends throughout the summer.
