One of the Army Staff's focus areas is to build the new army. An army that focuses on the army's capability in the field and in this builds new as well as restructure existing units. At the same time, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and manages the army's war units and subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.

The above, combined with the continued establishment of the Army Staff as a cohesive and unifying force, makes the tasks very varied, developing, and dynamic. Information about the position

The Army Staff is a separate organizational unit where the Technical and Maintenance Office (TVK) is included as a department within the Armament Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization, and material maintenance economy within the Armed Forces, as well as ensuring that the material is maintained in accordance with system objectives.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with operations, management, and technical support related to the army's material systems. The position has a broad focus and includes both analytical, follow-up, and administrative tasks. You will independently be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on matters within your area of responsibility, in close collaboration with other functions and operations. The work provides good opportunities to contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and routines as well as to your own professional development.

The main job responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Processing and administering order documentation, technical matters, deviations, and basic data in the organization's systems, as well as supporting the handling and allocation of incoming matters.
  • Working with governing documents and ensuring that routines and processes are followed, developed, and applied in the organization.
  • Providing qualified administrative and practical operational support to the manager and workgroup, including coordinating meetings, travel, and arrangements.
  • Preparing decision-making materials and independently preparing, investigating, and presenting planning and investigation materials.
  • Administering material movements, following up on deliveries and availability, and being responsible for the decommissioning of material, including documentation and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • High school education or other work experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Driving license B

Desirable

  • Experience as a staff assistant or equivalent within the Armed Forces
  • Service within the Armed Forces with a technical or logistical focus
  • Experience with PRIO/SAP
  • Project management
  • Previous experience in administrative work
