About the Assignment

You will work as a Software Engineer within steering gear, with a focus on translating and maintaining software requirements towards suppliers in an automotive environment. The assignment includes structured requirements work and keeping key requirement and signal/diagnostics documentation aligned with ongoing refinements and technical debt activities.

Job Description

Create and update Carweaver structures for project work
Update SSDS and SDB to reflect changes related to refinements, technical debt activities and feature updates
Perform software engineering activities related to base tech deviations, ensuring compliance alignment with internal stakeholders

Requirements

Knowledge of Carweaver for software requirements management (mandatory)
Steering knowledge or knowledge of other mechatronic systems
Supplier management knowledge
Fluent English

Nice to have

Carcom (SSDS) – diagnostics requirements
Elektra – signal database
Experience from Volvo Cars
