About the AssignmentYou will join a cross-functional team working with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments built around a next-generation “computer-in-the-car” architecture. These environments combine vehicle simulation with real hardware components to emulate real vehicle behavior and enable verification of platform, software, and functions before release.
The role is hands-on and quality-focused, where you help develop, configure, and maintain state-of-the-art HIL rigs and ensure they can execute relevant test cases. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Job Description- Define, set up, configure, and maintain HIL test environments to support current and future initiatives.
- Enable execution of relevant test cases for platform, software, and function verification.
- Work with software application and deployment on the core computer platform.
- Perform modeling activities using Matlab and Simulink.
- Enable and improve test automation, supporting movement towards CI/CD.
- Collaborate with other teams and external partners to solve daily technical challenges.
- M.Sc or B.Sc within Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or similar.
- At least 2 years of work experience with dSPACE Hardware In The Loop (HIL) rigs.
- At least 2 years of work experience with dSPACE development tools (e.g., ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, ModelDesk, Bus Manager, Aurelion).
- At least 2 years of work experience with Matlab / Simulink development.
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Vehicle communication knowledge (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet).
- Programming skills in Matlab and Python.
- Experience with model development in Simulink.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working.
- Knowledge of sensing technologies and perception development methods.
- Knowledge in vehicle/traffic simulation.
- Experience integrating sensor technologies (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonic).
- Background in vehicle software development (e.g., Vehicle Dynamics, Hybrid/Electric vehicles, Active Safety, Connected Vehicles, Autonomous Drive, Vehicle Motion Control, Protective Safety Systems).
