De la Gardiegymnasiet, one of Sweden's largest high schools, offers a wide range of programs and courses. With nearly 1900 students and over 250 employees, it is a school full of life and opportunities.

Do you want to help develop the digital learning environment of the future? We are looking for an engaged and solution-oriented IT developer who wants to contribute to strengthening our educational activities through smart, secure, and user-friendly IT solutions.

Responsibilities

As an IT developer with us, you will work both strategically and operationally with the school's digital development. The role includes:

• Developing and further developing the school's digital systems and platforms
• Integrating and adapting operational systems (e.g., learning platforms and administrative systems)
• Working on automation and streamlining internal processes
• Ensuring high IT security and good data protection management
• Providing technical support and advice to school management and educational staff
• Participating in and driving digital development projects
• Collaborating with external suppliers and IT partners
• Documenting solutions and creating clear routines

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant university degree in IT, system development, or equivalent experience
• Has experience in system development (e.g., in web development, databases, and API integrations)
• Has knowledge of IT security and data protection
• Has experience working with cloud services and modern IT environments
• Has the ability to work independently and drive projects forward
• Possesses good communication skills and is used to collaborating with different professional roles
• Can communicate pedagogically and clearly with staff as well as with students
• Can read situations based on needs and the person's competence/opportunities – help to self-help
• Can implement new solutions
• Is adaptable to situations
• Thinks long-term
• Is solution-oriented, self-driven, and responsible

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of:

• MacOS
• Jamf MDM
• Google Workspace
• Apple School/Business Manager
• Installation and operation of digital devices
• Experience from school environments or public operations
• Knowledge of educational IT systems and learning platforms

Temporary position until June 2027 with the possibility of extension.
