Your Mission

As a system developer, you will belong to the office for global collection and processing. The office is responsible for providing FRA with the technical systems needed for the operational area. The office develops, maintains, and deploys new technical systems and manages the operation and maintenance of existing systems.

In line with the office's mission, your main tasks will consist of developing new systems and working on further development and management of existing systems. In your role, collaboration is important, both within the team and with the business, where you will work on issues regarding design choices, architecture, implementation, and testing with a continuous focus on security.

The team works according to Scrum, where you will be involved from the first idea to deployment and management. You will work with a cross-functional team in an environment that encourages creativity and innovation. We have close collaboration within the team, but we also work closely with users, clients, and operations. You will join as the team's first frontend developer, which creates good opportunities to put your own stamp on the role.

Travel may occur in the position.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in modern web development
• Good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, such as React
• Experience with agile methods, such as Scrum/SAFe
• Experience with requirements analysis, usability, and UX
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Documented courses in IT, web development, and/or object-oriented Java development
• Experience with Java, Python, and Elasticsearch
• Worked with Kubernetes and cloud services
• Experience in developing and managing larger systems
• Experience with automated testing of frontend components
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Experience working closely with frontend architecture issues
• Knowledge of IT security
• Driver's license (B)

The workplace is located in the Gothenburg area. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security screening in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a military position.
