The Emergency Department in Gävle is prepared to receive patients with acute conditions regardless of illness, around the clock, year-round. We currently have about 120 employees who together create safe and effective care for our patients. Here, you will encounter a dynamic work environment where you can work with acute conditions in medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and psychiatry. We work in interdisciplinary teams with high competence and a strong culture of collaboration. The pace is high, the variety is great, and learning is constant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in the emergency department, you will have a varied and developing job where you meet patients with different needs and diagnoses - every day is unique. You will collaborate closely with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals.

As a nurse, you will work with:

• performing quick assessments and prioritizations in acute situations
• making independent decisions and providing safe care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in emergency care and thrives in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks. You are flexible, responsible, and work in a structured manner. You have good collaboration skills and are confident in your professional role.

In the role of nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse.

Previous experience in emergency care is an advantage.
