JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now seeking an engaged and solution-focused social worker for a position as a social secretary within financial assistance in Höganäs municipality.

You will be part of a team consisting of 12 dedicated colleagues: social secretaries within financial assistance, social secretaries for estates, integration counselors, budget and debt advisors, and a unit manager. We work together with great commitment and focus on quality, development, and collaboration.

As a social secretary within financial assistance, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, deciding on, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act. The work also involves supporting individuals on their path to self-sufficiency through motivational conversations, establishing individual plans, and collaborating with internal and external actors. An important part of the assignment is to drive and develop collaboration with the municipality's labor market unit, where our common goal is to create conditions for residents to gain employment and achieve self-sufficiency. Within the group, we work with the entire process from the first conversation, new visits, follow-ups, and the work until the case is closed.

As part of your daily work, you will regularly participate in team meetings and case supervision together with colleagues and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another equivalent higher education degree, and who has experience working with financial assistance. You have good communication skills and express yourself clearly and structured in both speech and writing. You are professional, attentive, and have a respectful approach. Furthermore, you have a good ability to work independently on your cases, while enjoying collaborating in a team and contributing to shared responsibility. As a person, you are engaged and have a solution-focused approach. You are proactive and always one step ahead.

We would also like you to have experience working in the Lifecare operational system. It is also advantageous if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

It is also an advantage if you have a driver's license; access to a company car is available.
