Stockholm County Healthcare Area, SLSO, is forming a new operation - Psychosis Care Stockholm, where all outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders will be gathered under this new entity.

We are now looking for a dedicated staff member for our mobile team at the Psychosis Clinic Södermalm!

About Psychosis Clinic Södermalm

The Psychosis Clinic Södermalm is a specialist clinic for patients with psychotic disorders living in Södermalm, Enskede Årsta, and Östberga.

We are about 30 staff members, including specialist doctors, case managers, nurses, mobile team members, paramedics, and medical secretaries, who together work with a person-centered and patient-experienced quality as our guiding star.

Job Description

As a staff member in our mobile team, you will work on behalf of the clinic's case managers and in close collaboration with them. You will have the opportunity to work more closely with a smaller group of patients alongside the responsible case manager.

Your tasks will include:

• Medication distribution with delegation at home and in residential facilities
• Continuous monitoring, assessment, and follow-up of the patient's mental well-being in their home environment
• Supportive and structuring interventions in the patient's daily life based on patient-specific assignments
• Documentation in the Take Care journal system
• Acute assignments during office hours for the clinic's patients – assessments and interventions at the clinic or in the patient's home/residence

The work is independent but always occurs in close collaboration with other professionals.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse or nursing assistant with a psychiatric focus
• Has experience working in psychiatric settings (required)
• Has experience working with psychotic disorders (preferred and highly desirable)
• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams
• Is confident in making independent assessments in the patient's home environment
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Is familiar with the Take Care journal system
• Has a valid driver's license (required)

Requirements for Nursing Assistants:

Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or an employer certificate confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) in the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you are applying with an employer certificate, you must attach your nursing assistant diploma.

• Background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
• In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
