Engaged Nurse Wanted for Ängsgården in Norrtälje

Are you the nurse who wants to help further develop our work with short-term guests at Tiohundra? We are now looking for an engaged and experienced nurse for Ängsgården in Norrtälje.

You will play a key role in the team, where your skills make a real difference for patients, their relatives, and the care staff you support.

About the Position

We offer a varied job where you organize your work together with colleagues. The schedule is rolling over six weeks with weekend work every sixth weekend and occasional evening shifts. The position is 100%, but we are open to discussion regarding the extent during the interview.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating medical assessments and treatments, both planned and acute.
• Perform medical procedures, ranging from wound dressings, injections, sampling, palliative care, medication management, and more.
• Guide and support care staff.
• Work in several digital systems, primarily Take Care, Appva, Lifecare, and Pascal.
• Also register in Senior Alert, BPSD, Palliative register, and soon also in SweDem.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse.
• Have a B driver's license and driving experience.
• Have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Have previous experience in elderly care.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Further education in elderly care, dementia, or palliative care.
• Previous experience in short-term care or nursing homes (SÄBO).

You are a structured person who takes responsibility for your work and delivers on time. In pressured situations, you remain calm, act steadily, and make well-founded decisions based on available information. You plan and organize your work efficiently while being considerate and contributing to the good team spirit we are very proud of.

About Us

Ängsgården's nursing home is located at the southern entrance to Norrtälje, with both proximity to nature and good commuting opportunities. It is easy to get here by car, and the buses stop right next to it. The residence has 30 apartments for permanent living and 12 short-term places. During the winter, 8 care places will be converted to short-term places.

Together with nurses at our other nursing homes within Tiohundra, we create a clear structure that provides you with support in your daily work. The goal is for you to have a sustainable work situation and have the opportunity to help shape the best possible elderly care for our residents.
