We are now looking for a positive and pedagogical occupational therapist for a 100% position at Linnégården in the heart of Östermalm, working alongside our physiotherapist. About Linnégården

Linnégården has 86 apartments spread over six floors, with 26 somatic places and 60 places for those with dementia. Vardaga operates Linnégården on behalf of Norra innerstaden, and we took over in 2024, so there are many years ahead. Our agreement includes good staffing with nursing assistants and nurses around the clock, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, activity coordinator, and a dietitian at 50%. The residence has a large courtyard with flowers, bushes, and berries.

About the role

You will work in a team with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, and your task is to enhance quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

As an occupational therapist, you will work with residents to find the best ways to utilize their own abilities in daily life. You support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social abilities. This often involves:

  • making assessments and adapting the daily environment.

  • trialing and prescribing physical and cognitive aids.

  • guiding your colleagues in rehabilitative efforts, approaches, transfer techniques, etc.

  • maintaining contact with the residents' relatives.

As we are a contracted service, we are required to use Stockholm City's journal system Vodok 2.0.

Your experience and knowledge

We believe that you who are applying to us:

You are a licensed occupational therapist, and we prefer that you have several years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is a requirement.
