About the position

The Cancer Study Unit in Huddinge is one of five units at the Center for Clinical Cancer Studies (CKC). The operation is growing, and we now need to expand our team.

As a research nurse with us, you will be part of an engaged team consisting of 16 research nurses and 10 research assistants. Together with our researching doctors, you will be responsible for initiating and conducting clinical trials and studies within the cancer diagnoses treated in Huddinge.

This is an exciting and dynamic role where you work at the forefront of research and contribute to the development of new treatment options for our patients. In close collaboration with the responsible physician, you will lead the work to start and drive clinical trials. You will participate in patient inclusion, follow patients throughout the study, and be responsible for important tasks such as study treatment, sample handling, medical checks, and follow-up. The work also includes data entry and collaboration with sponsors and other stakeholders in clinical studies.

In addition, you will participate in quality controls (monitoring) and work according to our standardized procedures, adapted to the regulations governing clinical trials.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse
  • At least two years of work experience as a nurse
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Experience working as a research nurse.
