About the workplace

Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate a total of eight elderly homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and meaningful everyday life, with activities, community, and good and enjoyable meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

Ersta diakoni has taken over the operation of Johanneslunds care and nursing home in Västerhaninge from March 2026. You can read more about the operation here.

About the role

As a nurse with us, you will plan, perform, and develop nursing work. Based on individual goals and needs, you will work closely with residents, relatives, nursing staff, and other colleagues/managers. You will also act as a coach and supervisor for the nursing staff and be responsible for nursing for one department.

As a substitute, you will step in as needed, for example, during sick leave or vacations. You will be paid for the hours you work – a flexible job that can be combined with studies or other activities.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who: 

• is a licensed nurse

• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

• has good computer skills.

We would also like you to have experience working in elderly care and with people with cognitive impairments.
