We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist to join our paramedical team at Capio Geriatrics Nynäshamn.

About us

Do you want to work in a safe, close-knit team by the sea? At our friendly geriatric department in Nynäshamn, you will have the chance to work closely with both colleagues and patients. We are a modern inpatient department with 22 beds where nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists collaborate to provide qualified care to patients from all over Stockholm County, with a special focus on Nynäshamn. Here you will meet a varied patient group and work with infections, cardiovascular diseases, COPD, diabetes, and rehabilitation after strokes or orthopedic injuries. We have direct admissions around the clock from acute hospitals, ambulances, health centers, and homes.

Your role

Physiotherapeutic assessments and treatments, participation in team rounds, as well as planning and referring/reporting ongoing rehabilitation needs. The work is patient-centered in interdisciplinary teams with significant family contact. Documentation is done in TakeCare. Student supervision is included in the work. The paramedical team consists of two occupational therapists, two physiotherapists, and one social worker.

About you

You are a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with experience in geriatric care. You work evidence-based and have a professional approach where the patient's needs and participation are always at the center.

As a person, you are flexible, open to new ways of working, and enjoy working in a team. You have a good ability to prioritize, take responsibility for your work, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

You appreciate collaboration and want to actively participate in developing and improving the operations.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
